Check these three before you call
- 1The thermostat. Set to Cool, a few degrees below the room, with fresh batteries.
- 2The breaker and the disconnect. The AC breaker in your panel, and the gray box on the wall by the unit, should both be on.
- 3The filter. A clogged filter can freeze the coil. If it is gray and fuzzy, swap it.

AC repair questions
How fast can you come when the AC is out?
From May to September, most calls before noon are fixed the same day. Homes with someone elderly, a baby or a health condition go to the front of the line. Tell Marisol when you call.
There is ice on the lines. What do I do?
Turn the thermostat to Off and the fan to On, so the ice melts. Running it frozen can ruin the compressor. Then call or text us.
Do you charge more for summer evenings?
Calls after 7 pm carry a $75 after-hours charge, which we tell you before anyone drives over. Saturdays are regular price.
Is a repair worth it on an older unit?
Under 10 years, almost always. Past 15 years in Tucson heat, we show you the repair price next to a replacement price so you can decide.
